A tragic incident occurred in Borivli West when a two-and-half-year-old boy lost his life after being hit by an SUV. The boy, Krishiv Mandavia, was riding his tricycle with his mother when the accident happened. Samir Parekh, the driver of the SUV, was arrested by the Borivli police shortly after the incident occurred. The court criticized the police for applying bailable sections during the driver’s arraignment.
