In response to the controversy over the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s removal of Dia Mirza’s Diwali firecracker awareness video, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated that the BMC has the authority to manage its social media postings. This remark comes after the Bombay high court ordered the video’s re-upload following objections from political leaders that led to its initial deletion.
