Police investigate how man accessed SATIS Bridge roof
The circumstances under which the man reached the roof remain unclear. Tadvi said, “There is no dedicated access route leading to the top; we wonder how he managed to get atop the SATIS Bridge.”
“Soon after rescuing the man, we asked him how he ended up getting on top and what his motive was,” Tadvi added.
The man is currently in police custody, and officials from Thane Police are trying to ascertain how he managed to reach the roof of the SATIS Bridge.
Officials said he was mentally distressed to respond to their questions. The police are expected to question him once his condition stabilises.
