In a significant development, Colaba police have apprehended Jaffar Shaikh, accused of submitting forged surety documents linked to an MPID case during bail proceedings in a Mumbai Sessions Court. These fraudulent documents were allegedly falsified from the Bhiwandi Tehsildar’s office, which later confirmed their lack of authenticity. Following a complaint lodged by an interpreter at the court, authorities are actively pursuing three additional accomplices connected to this deception.
