The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Sunday reported five new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the city to 108. Of these, 59 patients have completed their five-day home isolation period, the civic body said.
Currently, 16 patients are admitted to hospitals and their condition is stable.
Of these, 13 are being treated in private hospitals, while three are admitted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa.
In addition, 32 patients remain in home isolation. Their condition is also stable, according to the Information and Public Relations Department of TMC.
The city had reported nine cases on Saturday, bringing the total number of cases to 103 so far.
