Today, on the birth anniversary of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, Farhan Akhtar, who essayed his role in the film, took to his social media handle to honour the brave hero, remembering his courage and sharing how his life continues to be a profound source of inspiration.

120 Bahadur brings to life the incredible bravery of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought with unshakable spirit in the iconic Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. Farhan Akhtar steps into the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, the fearless leader who, along with his men, stood firm against overwhelming odds in one of the most heroic chapters of India’s military history. At its core, the film carries a powerful and moving message that defines their courage, “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge”, a line that captures their unwavering resolve and patriotism.
Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is an Excel Entertainment production and is currently playing in cinemas.
Farhan Akhtar`s upcoming projects
The actor will next work on his much-anticipated project, Don 3. When asked about an update on the film, he said, “We start filming next year. That`s probably the biggest update that I can give you.”
Don 3 was announced in 2024 with Ranveer Singh as the lead. Kiara Advani was also confirmed as the leading lady in the film; however, she backed out of the project after embracing motherhood. After her exit, the makers approached Kriti Sanon, and she will now play the female lead.
Social media is buzzing with several names for the role of the main antagonist in Don 3. It is no secret that Vikrant Massey is no longer attached to the project. In the statement, the makers had shared, “Casting for the film is underway, with the makers in talks with a top A-list actor to take on the intense antagonist role.”
