`Woh humari family hai`: Arjun Kapoor`s gesture towards paps wins hearts

Arjun Kapoor’s sister, Anshula Kapoor, got engaged to her boyfriend Rohan Thakker in an intimate ceremony on October 2. To cover the event, paparazzi were stationed outside the Traitors contestant’s residence. However, as the venue staff refused them entry to the premises, Arjun Kapoor intervened and requested them not to shout. He also told the authorities that the paparazzi are like his family, winning hearts with his sweet gesture.

Arjun Kapoor’s sweet gesture for paps

The actor said, “Meri ek request hai, baarish bhi hai. Aap log shaant raho. Zyada log nahi hai, ghar ke hi members hai. Kyunke building walo ke apne hi rules hai, apna apna chhota mota kuch chalraha hai unka. Aap log shanti se raho, zyada awaaz mat karo” (I have one request, it’s raining too. Please stay calm. There aren’t too many people, only family members are here. Because the building residents have their own rules, their own small matters going on. So please stay quiet, don’t make too much noise).

Talking to the venue’s staff, he added, “Aap bhi unko rehne dijiye. Woh humari family hai” (You also let them be. They are our family).

Anshula Kapoor–Rohan Thakker engagement

After dating for over three years, screenwriter Rohan Thakker proposed to Anshula Kapoor at Central Park in New York in July this year. The couple hosted an engagement ceremony along with a puja at Anshula’s residence. As per reports by Hindustan Times, “Anshula and Rohan will get engaged on October 2. A puja is planned for the day. They are keeping things low-key. It will be an intimate function with only close friends and family, including her father Boney, her brother, actor Arjun Kapoor, and her sisters, actors Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor.”

On the work front, Arjun will next be seen sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan in the upcoming comedy sequel, No Entry 2. Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film is expected to go on floors later this year. However, the names of the female leads of the film have not yet been confirmed by the makers.
