Morning observations recorded at 8.30 am on Tuesday by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) show varied temperature and humidity levels across the Konkan and Goa region, with no rainfall reported in the last 24 hours at any station.
In Mumbai, Colaba registered a maximum temperature of 31.8 degrees Celsius, which is 1.4 degrees Celsius below normal, and a minimum of 21.7 degrees Celsius, slightly 0.8 degrees Celsius above normal. The relative humidity stood at 78 per cent, while the city has recorded 216.3 mm of seasonal rainfall since October 1.
Santacruz reported a maximum of 32.7 degrees Celsius, 0.9 degrees Celsius below normal, and a minimum of 17.7 degrees Celsius, 2.3 degrees Celsius below normal, with humidity at 63 per cent. Seasonal rainfall at Santacruz stands at 106.6 mm.
In Goa (Panaji), the maximum temperature was 33 degrees Celsius, marginally 0.4 degrees Celsius below normal, and the minimum was 21.5 degrees Celsius, 0.3 degrees Celsius below normal, with humidity recorded at 80 per cent. Seasonal rainfall for the station is significantly high at 494.6 mm.
Harnai reported a maximum of 30.6 degrees Celsius, 1.2 degrees Celsius below normal, and a minimum of 22.4 degrees Celsius, 1 degree Celsius above normal, with humidity at 53 per cent. The location has recorded 289.2 mm of rainfall so far this season.
In Alibaug, temperatures were relatively moderate with a maximum of 30.9 degrees Celsius (1.7 degrees Celsius below normal) and a minimum of 20.3 degrees Celsius (0.2 degrees Celsius above normal). Humidity was at 72 per cent, while seasonal rainfall reached 183.2 mm.
Dahanu recorded a maximum of 29.9 degrees Celsius, 1.5 degrees Celsius below normal, and a minimum of 16.5 degrees Celsius, 3.6 degrees Celsius below normal, with humidity at 81 per cent. Seasonal rainfall for the station stands at 185 mm.
Meanwhile, Ratnagiri saw the highest maximum temperature in the region at 33 degrees Celsius, slightly below normal by 0.7 degrees Celsius, and a minimum of 20.3 degrees Celsius, 0.8 degrees Celsius below normal, with humidity at 59 per cent. Its seasonal rainfall is 399.1 mm.
Across all stations in Konkan and Goa, no rainfall was recorded in the past 24 hours, though seasonal and annual totals continue to remain high for many coastal locations.
Morning weather observations from Madhya Maharashtra, recorded at 8:30 am on Tuesday, show mild daytime temperatures, cool nights, and zero rainfall across all stations, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Ahilyanagar reported a maximum temperature of 27.9 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees Celsius below normal, and a minimum of 9.4 degrees Celsius, 3.8 degrees Celsius below normal, with humidity at 75 per cent. Jalgaon recorded 28.7 degrees Celsius as the maximum and 10.4 degrees Celsius as the minimum, both slightly below normal. The station also registered humidity at 91 per cent.
Jeur reported a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 9 degrees Celsius, while Kolhapur recorded 28.5 degrees Celsius during the day and 17.4 degrees Celsius at night, with humidity at 70 per cent. Mahabaleshwar remained the coolest location with a minimum of 12.6 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 25.2 degrees Celsius, along with a high humidity level of 79 per cent.
Nasik and Satara reported cool morning temperatures of 10.3 degrees Celsius and 13.5 degrees Celsius, respectively, while their daytime temperatures remained around 28 degrees Celsius. Pune recorded a maximum of 29.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 11.6 degrees Celsius, with humidity at 92 per cent.
Sangli reported one of the highest maximums at 30.6 degrees Celsius, while Solapur registered the region’s highest daytime temperature at 31.8 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at 75 per cent and 58 per cent, respectively.
Despite the varied temperature patterns, no station in Madhya Maharashtra received rainfall in the last 24 hours, though seasonal and annual rainfall totals remain high across the region.
