British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is in Mumbai on a two-day visit but made the time to indulge in local food with a visit to the iconic city restaurant Khyber in the Kala Ghoda neighbourhood in Fort.
The restaurant shared a glimpse about the visit on social media through an Instagram post saying, “The British Prime Minister`s visit to Khyber marks a proud milestone for Mumbai`s dining legacy. Founded by Mr Sudheer Bahl and now led by his son Mr Ishaan Bahl, Khyber stands as a symbol of India`s rich culture and world class hospitality.”
Sharing the news on his Stories on the social media app, Ishaan Bahl said, “A privilege and honour to have UK Prime Minister @keirstarmer at @khyberrestaurant.in The legacy lives on.”
Coincidentally, the city restaurant celebrates 65 years of existence in 2025, a major milestone at a time when many dining establishments struggle to survive amid evolving palates and rising estate prices.
