Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are over the moon as the couple if all set to welcome their first child. After they announced pregnancy, fans and industry friends showered love and blessings on the couple. Recently, Vicky’s brother Sunny Kaushal expressed how the family is excited to welcome the little one. Now, he gushed over what kind of chachu will he be as he looks forward to spoiling the child.
Sunny Kaushal on Katrina-Vicky’s pregnancy
Speaking to ETimes, Sunny shared that the family is waiting with “bated breath for the new arrival.” He said, “This is the first time we’re all experiencing this kind of joy. Right now, we’re just waiting for the day when the baby arrives and we can welcome the child to the family.” When asked what kind of chachu he thinks he will be, the actor responded, “I’ll make sure I’m a fun uncle. I want to spoil the child… that’s the kind of chachu I want to be.”
Earlier, while speaking to Instant Bollywood, Sunny had shared, “Sabhi ko badi khushi hai and nervous bhi hai ki kya hoga aage jaake (Everyone is happy and nervous also. We do not know what will happen ahead). Waiting for that day to come.”
When Katrina announced her pregnancy
Rumours of Katrina’s pregnancy have been doing rounds ever since the actress was spotted in a loose dress while travelling with Vicky. After months of speculations, the couple finally announced pregnancy via adorable post in September. They shared a polaroid picture in which they are happily caressing Katrina’s baby bump. The caption read, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.” To note, the couple is in their third trimester.

The actor is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming directorial Love & War, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Soon after completing the complex romantic drama, the actor will begin the training for Maddock Films Mahavatar, which is among the most anticipated Indian movies.
Katrina, on the other hand, was last seen in Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas alongside Vijay Sethupathi.
