Priyanka Chopra–Mahesh Babu’s dance number in SSMB29?

According to India Today, a source stated, “It’s something that has come up in creative discussions. Rajamouli wants every element in the film to serve the story. The idea of a special dance number with Priyanka and Mahesh is being explored, but it will only move ahead if it fits tonally with the film’s vision.”

A source from the production added, “Nothing has been locked yet. Rajamouli is very particular that songs in his films are not just visual spectacles but story-driven moments. The concept is being developed, and if it aligns creatively, we could see Priyanka and Mahesh garu in something truly unique.”

“The number, if greenlit, will be mounted on a grand scale. The idea is to celebrate culture and character without breaking the film’s pace,” the insider said. As per earlier reports, the song will reportedly be choreographed by Raju Sundaram.

About SSMB29

The film is touted to be the biggest project in Indian cinema, mounted on a massive budget of Rs 900–1000 crores.
