On Thursday, slabs of the second and fourth floor of a Grant Road building collapsed, said officials. They added that there was likely going to be a casualty and stated that the slabs of a ground+four-storey structure collapsed.
According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade officials, the incident was first reported around 10.18 am and it happened in a building on Maulana Shaukat Ali Road in South Mumbai. They added that apart from the fire brigade, Mumbai Police, BEST, 108 Ambulance and BMC ward staff were mobilised.
