Saif Ali Khan reveals how his kids reacted to home invasion

When Bollywood’s Nawaab—Saif Ali Khan and Khiladi—Akshay Kumar get together, the conversation is sure to keep you on your heels with their wit and rib-tickling humour. From marriage checklists to midnight scares, this week’s episode of Prime Video’s Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle brings together the duo Saif and Akshay, who bare it all. Last seen together on-screen 17 years ago in Tashan, the Bollywood duo make their long-awaited reunion worth the wait.

Saif Ali Khan recalls stabbing incident

On the episode, Saif Ali Khan recalled his stabbing incident when an intruder got into his Mumbai home. Recalling the traumatic night, the actor said, “I barged into Jeh’s room, and in the dark, I saw this guy standing over his bed with a knife. I jumped on him and we started fighting. And then, he went mad. He had these two knives, and he just started slashing all over me. Taimur looked at me upstairs, and he said, ‘Oh, my God! Are you going to die?’ And I said, no, I don’t think so. But I’ve got a pain in the back. I’m not going to die, I’m fine.” After the incident, Jeh called Saif “his Hero”.

In an earlier interview with Esquire India, the actor also recalled what wen through his head when he got stabbed. “There’s this crazy sense of how lucky one is because (the knife attack) was damn close. And to walk away relatively unscathed is nothing short of miraculous.”

He added, “It could have been the adrenaline, but I remember thinking life has been colourful and I’ve been privileged… not just in terms of money. So many people have more. But I’ve lived in that rarefied atmosphere of Winchester, travelled with loved ones, the wine, my wife, my children.”

Saif on his romance with Kareena

On the episode, Saif also fondly recalled his early days of romance with Kareena Kapoor during the filming of Tashan. He shared, “When I went to Ladakh, we used to go for these long walks, and she’d ask me a lot of questions, which were kind of a test meets interview. Like, what is your view on love? This kind of went on for a while. It was very old-fashioned.”

Talking about tattoos, Saif narrates the story behind his ‘Kareena’ tattoo and Akshay speaks of inking his family’s names, while Kajol teases Twinkle about not having a tattoo of Akshay’s name. To this, Twinkle jokingly responds with her signature wit, saying, “Nothing is permanent in life. Tattoos are, marriages are not. I don’t want any tattoo, baadmei I’ll have to change it,” leaving everyone giggling.
