Railways to run six additional special trains between Mumbai and Chhapra

The Central Railway has announced six additional special train services between Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Chhapra to manage the extra rush of passengers.

According to a press release, the trains will operate between Sunday, November 9, and Thursday, November 13, with both UP and DOWN services scheduled to ensure convenient travel during the festive season.

The complete details of the special trains are as follows:

Train No 05094/05093

05094 Special will depart from LTT on November 11 at 3.55 pm and reach Chhapra at 1.45 am on the third day.

05093 Special will leave Chhapra on November 9 at 10.45 pm and reach LTT at 1.40 pm on the third day.

Composition: One air-conditioned (AC) 2-tier, eight AC 3-tier economy, seven sleepers, four general, one second seating – guard’s brake van and one generator van.

Train No 05096/05095

05096 Special will leave LTT on November 12 at 3.55 pm and reach Chhapra at 1.45 am on the third day.

05095 Special will leave Chhapra on November 10 at 10.45 pm and reach LTT at 1.40 pm on the third day.

Composition: Twelve AC 3-tier economy, four sleepers, four second class chair cars, one second seating-guard’s brake van and one generator van.

Train No. 05098/05097

05098 Special will leave LTT on November 13 at 3.55 pm and reach Chhapra at 1.45 am on the third day.

05097 Special will leave Chhapra on November 11 at 10.45 pm and arrive at LTT at 1.40 pm on the third day.

Composition: Ten AC 3-tier Economy, four sleepers, four second class chair cars, one second seating-guard’s brake van and one generator van.

The trains will halt at Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Rani Kamplapati, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Badshahnagar, Gomti Nagar, Barabanki, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, and Siwan.

Reservations for trains 05094, 05096, and 05098 will open on Sunday at all computerised reservation centres and on the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website. Unreserved tickets can be booked via the UTS mobile app at normal superfast Mail/Express charges.

Passengers can check detailed timings and halts on www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or through the NTES app, the release added.
