Raghav Juyal, who rose to prominence with his viral Dance India Dance audition and distinctive stage name “Crockroaxz,” has been a regular presence in the entertainment sector. He moved to Mumbai with the intention of becoming a background dancer and finally became a well-known dancer. He went on to become a television host before transitioning into acting. While he appeared in films such as ABCD 2 and Street Dancer 3D, it was his efforts in Kill and The Ba***ds of Bollywood that earned him widespread recognition.
Raghav recently appeared in filmmaker Farah Khan`s YouTube series, which contributed to his celebrity. He arrived in style, wearing jeans atop denim and accompanied by a bodyguard. Farah was impressed with his transformation and commented, “Oh my God! This is what stardom looks like. You look like a rockstar from Hollywood. You used to look like you were from Nala Sopara… now you have changed.” She added with a smile, “You look so nice, success is working for you.”
Raghav Juyal and Farah Khan`s fun banter over coffee
During their conversation, Raghav playfully lamented that Farah did not make him a star like Dilip. Surprised, Farah responded, “What are you saying? “Who arranged your first acting audition?” Raghav corrected himself and warmly remembered, “Farah ma’am was the one who referred me to casting director Anmol Ahuja for an audition for Satte Pe Satta. When I auditioned, all the casting directors were shocked. That led to more opportunities and eventually roles in Kill and other projects.” Farah chimed in, referencing Satte Pe Satta, “Picture toh bani nahi par tu nikal pada! (The film didn’t happen, but you took off!)”
As Raghav entered Farah`s home, he was asked, “What do you want to drink?” He said, “Coffee.” Farah asked, “Your Americano? Because you no longer belonged to Nala Sopara!” Raghav laughed, saying, “Abhi main Ulhasnagar se Las Vegas mein aa gaya hoon!” (I`ve travelled from Ulhasnagar to Las Vegas now!)”
Raghav Juyal talks about learning Arabic for Emraan Hashmi`s iconic song
Farah, evidently pleased, then asked, “Tell me about this Hollywood rockstar look!” When Raghav remained silent, she mocked him again: “Has this change come after the success of Ba***ds of Bollywood?” Raghav meekly said, “I don`t know! That show earned me a lot of recognition and accolades.” Farah went on to praise his performance in the Aryan Khan series, highlighting a sequence with Emraan Hashmi. Curious, she inquired, “When did you learn Arabic?” Raghav chuckled, “Mostly while travelling. My driver, Ram, used to be scared when I suddenly started singing in Arabic!”
Later in the conversation, Raghav confidently stated, “I am building a massive house near Dehradun. “It has five stories.” He said that once it`s finished, he`ll call Farah over to make another video there. Farah then inquired, “So, do you live on rent in Bombay?” Raghav confidently responded, “Not at all! I own a home here!”
Raghav has been in the profession for around 15 years. Long before the Kill and Ba***ds of Bollywood, he appeared in films such as ABCD 2, Street Dancer 3D, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
