While the two have not revealed wedding date, Palash had confirmed the upcoming wedding recently. Speaking to reporters at the State Press Club, he put an end to questions around their relationship. When asked about his relationship with the Indian cricketer, the Indore-based artist smiled and revealed that Smriti will become Indore`s daughter-in-law. His message indicated that the pair is about to take the next important step in their nearly 6-year relationship. He is quoted as saying, “She will soon become the daughter-in-law of Indore… that’s all I want to say. I’ve given you the headline.”

They will reportedly tie the knot in Smriti’s hometown, Sangli, Maharashtra. Their union is anticipated to bring together the worlds of cricket and music. Meanwhile, both families are said to be busy preparing for an intimate yet grand celebration.

Earlier this month, cricketer Smriti Mandhana`s boyfriend, music composer Palash Muchhal, posted a couple of photos on Instagram with Smriti, celebrating her World Cup victory. In one of the pictures, the couple is seen flashing joyous smiles as she drapes the Indian flag around herself while holding the trophy. Palash has his arm wrapped around her shoulder, captioning the post, “Am I still dreaming?”

In another post, Palash shared a photo of Smriti beaming with joy as he held the glittering World Cup trophy toward her. He captioned it with a heartfelt note: “Sabse aage hai hum Hindustani.” Fans quickly noticed a tattoo on Palash’s hand that reads “SM 18,” resembling Smriti’s initials and jersey number—an affectionate gesture that melted hearts across the internet.
