Nora Fatehi slams reports of drug probe

Amid these reports, Nora took to her Instagram Stories to clarify that she has no association with such individuals. She stated that she only focuses on her work and does not attend parties. “I DON’T go to parties… I’m constantly on flights… I’m a workaholic, I don’t have a personal life… I don’t associate myself with people like that. On my off days, I’m at home, on a beach in Dubai, or with my high-school friends! I spend my entire days and nights working on my dreams and goals!”

She further recalled being dragged into controversies earlier despite having no involvement. “Don’t believe anything you read! It seems like my name is an easy target, but I won’t allow it this time. It happened once before—you tried to destroy me with lies and it didn’t work. I watched silently as everyone slandered my name, smeared my reputation, and used me as clickbait. Please refrain from using my name and image in situations that have absolutely NOTHING to do with me. This will come with a heavy, heavy price. Respectfully.”

About the drug probe

Salim Suhail Shaikh, a Dubai-based drug kingpin arrested by Mumbai Police in the Rs 252-crore mephedrone case, allegedly claimed during interrogation that he organised several drug-fueled parties across Mumbai, Goa, and Dubai. He reportedly said these events were attended by well-known Bollywood personalities, a politician, and other high-profile individuals.

Police clarified that the veracity of these claims is still under investigation and that no person has been officially named or charged in connection with these alleged gatherings.

According to sources, Shaikh allegedly hosted and participated in parties where cocaine and charas were supplied and consumed. During questioning, he purportedly claimed that two well-known actresses, the son of a prominent actor, a film director, a former Mumbai politician, a Page-3 celebrity, and a relative of underworld fugitive Dawood Ibrahim attended some events.

Shaikh, known to be close to Dawood aide Salim Dola, was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) Ghatkopar Unit on November 5 after being extradited from Dubai. He allegedly revealed that Dola organised similar high-profile parties in Mumbai, Goa, and Dubai, where narcotics were distributed. Shaikh reportedly admitted to attending several of these events alongside Dola.
