The IMD has predicted pleasant weather conditions, with maximum and minimum temperatures around 32 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius, respectively.

AQI deteriorates but remains in ‘moderate’ category
Even as the weather remains pleasant, Mumbai woke up to a hazy morning on Wednesday, raising concerns about deteriorating air quality.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board’s SAMEER app, the city’s Air Quality Index (AQI) stood at 129, placing it in the ‘moderate’ category.
By evening, it dipped further to 136 (moderate). Experts have cautioned that air quality may worsen as winter approaches, a trend observed in previous years.
Since 2022, Mumbai has consistently experienced a decline in AQI levels between November and January, attributed to reduced atmospheric moisture and slower wind speeds compared to the monsoon months.
