For Kartik Aaryan, 2025 has been all about back-to-back shoots. Having recently wrapped a chunk of Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri that sees him opposite Ananya Panday, the actor is now set to resume the shoot of Anurag Basu’s yet-untitled romantic drama co-starring Sreeleela. We’ve heard that the team will kick off the final leg in Mumbai after the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
An industry insider shares, “The bulk of the film is already shot. Post Ganpati celebrations this month, the team will dive into a 45-day marathon schedule that should take the movie to the finish line.”

While the love story was originally planned as a Diwali 2025 release, Basu confirmed to mid-day in July that the film has been pushed to 2026 (‘In my film, the girl doesn’t have dementia’, July 29). Sources tell us that the romantic drama will now arrive in theatres in April 2026, aligning with the summer holiday window. A member of the production unit adds, “It will be a straight shoot with no breaks until Diwali, after which we will head into post-production. As of now, the April 2026 target looks achievable.”
