Actor Sachin Chandwade, who was seen in the Netflix show Jamtara 2, has died by suicide. The 25-year-old actor was reportedly found hanging at his hometown in Jalgaon on October 23, 2025. Reportedly, he was found by his family members who immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. However, doctors could not save him. His untimely and sudden demise has left the entertainment industry and his well-wishers mourning the loss of a talented and promising artist.

As per a report in Maharashtra Times, the young actor was found hanging on October 23 at his Jalgaon residence. His family members saw him hanging from a ceiling fan and rushed him to the hospital. He was initially admitted to a private hospital close to his village, Undirkhede. The family later moved him to a hospital in Dhule after his health deteriorated. Sachin passed away on October 24 at around 1.30 AM amid treatment.
Hailing from Jalgaon district, Sachin balanced two very different careers — acting and software engineering. He was working at an IT Park in Pune while continuing to pursue his long-standing passion for acting. Friends and family remember him as a determined and grounded individual who had been fascinated by performance since childhood.
Sachin`s last post on Instagram was about his upcoming film
The actor used social media to share a part of his life with his followers, including promoting his work in the movies. His last post on social media was five days ago. He had shared the poster of his upcoming film Asurvan. In Asurvan, he had a major role alongside Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare.The film, directed by Sachin Ramchandra Ambat, is set to release this year, and promotions had just begun when news of Sachin’s death broke.
The actor has also pinned a post on him posing on the sets of the popular Netflix series Jamtara 2.
