A summer sequel on the way

Actor Ranveer Singh is gearing up to expand Dhurandhar, which, the buzz is, will mark the start of a full-fledged franchise. We have learnt that the makers have finalised a two-part rollout: Dhurandhar Part 1 arrives in cinemas on December 5,  followed by Part 2 in summer 2026. Industry insiders say the ambitious scale made a split “the most practical narrative path,” noting that the world-building naturally leads into a second chapter. The first film’s cut is reportedly locked at 
nearly three hours, while Part 2 is in pre-production. The Aditya Dhar-directored stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun.

Actor Rumana Molla, known for Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), Irada (2017), and Bawri Chhori (2021), celebrating a major milestone as she makes her directorial debut with Minimum. The film, which has already earned praise at festival screenings in India and abroad, is gearing up for its India release soon. The film features Naseeruddin Shah, Saba Azad, Namit Das, and Geetanjali Kulkarni. Rumana says directing offers a unique creative satisfaction, describing it as “more cathartic”. She is now developing her next film.
