The upcoming thriller Haiwaan has wrapped its initial filming block. Helmed by Priyadarshan, the first schedule was completed across picturesque outdoor locations including Kochi, Vagamon, and Ooty. The production team is now set to move to Mumbai to begin the next phase of shooting. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, who are reuniting on screen after 17 years. The cast also features Saiyami Kher and Shriya Pilgaonkar.

Superstar Aamir Khan has defended his bold decision to release Sitaare Zameen Par on YouTube just six weeks after cinemas, at R100 per viewing. Despite criticism, he revealed the gamble worked, with the film earning “20 times its normal business.” Admitting that he was “scared for sure”, Aamir said his move was aimed at repairing the exhibition system weakened after the pandemic, when films were rushed to OTT. On the Game Changers podcast, he also revealed that he is now open to releasing the film on a streaming platform too.

Actor Janhvi Kapoor has addressed ongoing rumours about her marriage plans with Shikhar Pahariya. At the trailer launch of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in Mumbai, on a rainy Monday (September 15), when asked about wedding plans, Janhvi laughed off the speculation and said, “Abhi meri planning sirf filmo ko lekar hai. Shaadi ki planning ke liye bahut time hai.” She emphasised that her current focus is on work, with no immediate plans to tie the knot. She also admitted she has thought about her dream wedding, revealing it would be a simple ceremony in Tirupati and that she would like Manish Malhotra to design her bridal outfit. However, she reiterated that such plans remain distant, as her career continues to take precedence.
