A new spin-off centred on Langda Tyagi, the unforgettable character from Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara (2006), is reportedly in the works. According to reports, the project is currently in the scripting stage, with production likely to begin in next year. While Saif Ali Khan’s portrayal of the scheming Tyagi remains one of his most acclaimed performances, it is not yet confirmed whether the actor will return to the role. The makers are said to be exploring the idea of recasting, citing the character’s lasting cultural impact. The buzz is that since the character has received so much love by cinema buffs, the producers are seeing strong potential in expanding the Omkara universe through his story. The 2006 film also starred Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Konkona Sensharma, and Vivek Oberoi.

Aishwarya was seen hugging the fan, wiping away her tears, and saying, “Breathe deeply and smile for the picture,” before posing with her. Netizens praised her gesture, calling her “sweet and caring” and “the most humble person.” Aishwarya will once again walk the runway for L’Oréal Paris, continuing her long-standing association with the global beauty brand.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who recently celebrated his 43rd birthday on September 28, has revealed fresh details about the much-anticipated sequel to Animal (2023). Speaking about the project, he said, “Animal Park should start in 2027. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has been interacting with me on the idea, the music and the characters, and it’s just crazy, and I can’t wait to be on set.” The actor recently marked 18 years since his debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya (2007). And he is now reuniting with filmmaker for Love & War. Reflecting on the collaboration, he said, “Whatever I know about acting was seeded in by him. I am working with him 18 years later, and he’s an even bigger master today.” The film also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

Unveiling its first poster, the movie’s team wrote, “Lucknow aur London — do sheher, do ladke aur ek sawaal — aakhir kaun banega Single Salma ka balma?” The film is directed by Nachiket Samant, with the script penned by Mudassar Aziz, Amina Khan, and Ravi Kumar. Meanwhile, Huma’s recent project Bayaan, which also sees her serve as an executive producer, premièred at the Toronto International Film Festival 2025.
