Bollywood actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar celebrated Diwali by adding a luxurious new car to his collection. He purchased a Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 worth Rs 3.15 crore (ex-showroom). A video of the actor with his wife recently went viral, where they are seen stepping out of his brand-new SUV in Mumbai`s Bandra area.

In the viral clip, Farhan can be seen arriving at his office in his newly purchased green Maybach GLS600. He is seen accompanied by his wife, Shibani Dandekar. The two were seen greeting the paparazzi, posing for pictures, before handing over the car keys to a valet and heading inside. The luxurious SUV is seen adorned with a traditional flower garland on its front grille. The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 is one of the most sought-after luxury SUVs in India, frequently spotted in the garages of Bollywood stars and business tycoons.
The car is known for its comfort, cutting-edge technology, and lavish interiors. The Maybach GLS600 reportedly features Adaptive High Beam Assist, a 360-degree parking camera, Active Lane Keeping and Blind Spot Assist, 8 airbags, and an off-road driving mode.
Although it is unclear if Farhan bought the four-seater or five-seater variant of the car, he chose a deep green shade, which has since caught fans` attention online. The SUV is a blend of style, power, and indulgence.
Notably, Farhan is not the first Bollywood celebrity to own the who own the Mercedes-Maybach GLS600. Other celebrities who are proud owners of the car are Deepika Padukone, Ayushmann Khurrana, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Farhan is gearing up to be next seen in 120 Bahadur. The film is a war drama inspired by the legendary Battle of Rezang La of 1962. In the film, Farhan plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, Param Vir Chakra awardee.
It is slated for a theatrical release on November 21, 2025. Notably, 120 Bahadur marks Farhan`s return to the big screen after quite some years. The film is directed by Razneesh `Razy` Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan under Excel Entertainment, along with Amit Chandrra.
