Actress Mallika Sherawat recently shared a memorable moment on her social media. She shared a couple of adorable pictures from her meeting with Oscar-winning filmmaker Bong Joon-ho. The South Korean filmmaker is best known for his critically acclaimed film Parasite.

The actress took to Instagram to share a couple of photographs from their meeting, wherein she is seen smiling while warmly posing beside the South Korean director. Mallika penned a heartfelt note for Bong Joon-ho, expressing her excitement about the meeting and calling him a true master of his craft. She wrote, “Had such a great time chatting with the Oscar winner, the maestro director Bong Joon-ho. His films hv always stirred something deep within me, from the raw intensity of SnowPiercer to the layered brilliance of Parasite. Truly inspired parasite snowpiercer bongjoonho oscarwinner.” (sic)

For the unversed, Bong Joon-ho bagged four Oscars at the 2020 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for Parasite (2019). He is known for his unique storytelling and social commentary.

Several fans and desi netizens reacted to the post by celebrating the encounter. Many users hailed the Murder actress for representing India with dignity and grace on the international scene. One user playfully quipped, “One of the sexiest people in the world meets Mallika Sherawat.”

Mallika recently opened up about her dedication to veganism, which she claims has improved her health and energy. She recently told Bollywood Hungama, “I mainly eat fruits, salads, and Thai green curry as part of my daily routine. Additionally, I avoid milk, lassi, paneer and cheese.”

The 49-year-old revealed that her mornings begin with an abundance of fresh fruit, especially mangoes, which she calls her all-time favourite. She says he keeps it simple when it comes to desserts, indulging only in dates. She further added, “I like bhindi a lot,” she added with a smile. “Bhindi, of course, I prefer it in a cooked form, but I also love green salads and avocado. Thai green curry is my favourite — it’s made with coconut milk and has the right kind of spices.”
