The passing away of veteran actor Satish Shah has come as a shock to his family and industry friends. To honour his legacy and remember his contributions, Shah`s family and friends organised a prayer meet in Mumbai on Monday to pay tribute to the late actor. From Sarabhai vs Sarabhai cast to veteran actors and filmmakers, several people attended the prayer meet. However, a moment that caught attention was Rakesh Roshan and Shatrughan Sinha ignoring each other.

Did Rakesh Roshan ignore Shatrughan Sinha?

In a viral video, Shatrughan Sinha was exiting the prayer meet amid heavy security while Rakesh Roshan was waiting outside. When Sinha was making his way to car, Rakesh Roshan turned and started talking on call, which left netizens wondering if the filmmaker ignored the actor. Reacting to it, a social media user wrote, “He was busy on phone waise bhi he was trying to listen other side se but because of disturbance noise he turned. hum bhi aisi kerte hia na jab mb road pe kisi se agar baat kerte hia.” While another wrote, “Yes, it seems so.”

To note, the actor and filmmaker have collaborated on film Khoon Bhari Maang. The 1988 film had Shatrughan Sinha playing a crucial supporting role, adding depth to the intense narrative. The film also starring Rekha and Kabir Bedi is a classic revenge drama that became a major hit in Indian cinema.

About Satish Shah’s prayer meet

The prayer meet for the late actor was held at Jalaram Hall in Juhu, Mumbai. Several celebs, including Johnny Lever with his family, Paresh Ganatra, Deven Bhojani, Sumeet Raghvan and his family, Rajesh Kumar, Divya Dutta, David Dhawan, Nitish Bharadwaj, and Supriya Pilgaonkar, among others, attended it.

For those unversed, he died on 25th October due to kidney failure. He was 74 and is survived by wife Madhu Shah, who is suffering from Alzheimer`s.

Talking about Shah, his diverse filmography includes popular hits like satirical black comedy Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Main Hoon Na, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, among many others. A graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Shah`s mastery of situational comedy and character versatility made him one of the most respected and loved actors in the Indian entertainment industry.
