Dhurandhar: Ranveer Singh-starrer tickets being sold for over Rs 2000

Dhurandhar, which stars Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt, is one of the year`s most anticipated films. The movie, which will be released in theatres on December 5, is generating a lot of anticipation, and advance bookings have already begun. The most costly ticket for the Ranveer Singh starrer costs more than Rs 2000.

Tickets sold at a high price point

According to the BookMyShow portal, the most costly ticket for Ranveer Singh`s action thriller costs Rs 2020, which includes a Rs 70 platform convenience fee. It is for a show at Maison INOX, Jio World Plaza, BKC, Mumbai. While the ticket costs more than Rs 2000, it excludes food and refreshments.

Dhurandhar, billed as an action-packed spy saga based on true events, follows a fearless Indian intelligence operator as he infiltrates Pakistan`s Lyari region, which is infamous for gang fights, terrorist networks, and high-stakes crime syndicates.

The plot unfolds as the agent embarks on a Black Ops mission that tests his courage, morals, and survival instincts while destroying a vast network of terror.

Earlier speculation stated that the film was inspired by the life of Major Mohit Sharma, an Ashoka Chakra recipient. However, director Aditya Dhar has released a formal disclaimer, indicating that the film is not based on Major Sharma`s life.

All about Dhurandhar

Adding to the suspense, sources suggest that Dhurandhar will be a two-part film, with the second installment expected to arrive in mid-2026. The film is also expected to have a 3.5-hour length, making it one of Bollywood`s longest feature films in recent years.

Dhurandhar features an excellent ensemble cast. Along with Ranveer Singh in the lead, the film boasts stunning performances from Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Naveen Kaushik, Manav Gohil, and several others who play important roles in the story.

Aditya Dhar wrote and directed the film, and he co-produced it with Lokesh Dhar and Jyoti Deshpande under the labels of B62 Studios and Jio Studios. Shashwat Sachdev composes the music and background score, Vikash Nowlakha handles the cinematography, and Shivkumar V. Panicker oversees the editing.
