R Madhavan is scheduled to play a formidable new role in Aditya Dhar`s upcoming film, Dhurandhar. On Sunday, the film`s makers presented its first look, which shows Madhavan in a fierce and authoritative persona. He is referred to as the “Charioteer of Karma.”
Ranveer Singh resorted to social media to share Madhavan`s first glimpse. He penned, “The Charioteer of Karma.” 3 Days to Go! The #DhurandharTrailer will be released on November 12th at 12:12 PM. “In cinemas on December 5th.”
The film`s title track provides a fierce glimpse of Ranveer Singh`s appearance. The upbeat track emphasises Ranveer`s powerful performance and sets the tone for the action-packed film. The title track features the actor performing high-octane action manoeuvres with a gun. Shashwat Sachdev and Charanjit Ahuja composed the music, which is a bold combination of modern hip-hop, Punjabi flavour, and cinematic grit.
The song was performed by Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas, Sudhir Yaduvanshi, Shashwat Sachdev, Muhammad Sadiq, and Ranjit Kaur. Hanumankind, Jasmine Sandlas, and Babu Singh Maan wrote the lyrics.
Music director and producer Shashwat Sachdev commented on the single, saying, “Na De Dil Pardesi Nu is a folk classic that carries deep emotion, so reimagining it for Dhurandhar was both an honour and a responsibility.”

Shashwat further quipped, “The song was written into the film’s soul. It was in the script from the very beginning, and I built its sound from that spark. Ojas Gautam (Dhurandhar film DA) and I shaped the sonic energy around it until it became the heartbeat of the film’s world. Later, one night in the studio, Aditya Dhar, Hanumankind, and I captured an impromptu rap that brought raw, instinctive fire to the track, the kind of moment you live for as a composer. This version bridges generations, resonating with those who grew up with the original, while connecting with a younger audience through its contemporary pulse.”
When will the film release?
On a similar subject, the trailer for the upcoming film will be released on November 12th. Dhurandhar was written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar. It is also funded by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. The action thriller also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. The film is set to hit theatres on December 5, 2025.
