Actors Raveena Tandon, Sonu Sood, and Vijay offered their sympathies following the high-intensity explosion outside Delhi`s Red Fort on Monday evening, which killed at least eight people and injured more. Celebrities, like Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, took to social media to react to the devastating news.

Taking to X (now Twitter), Raveena wrote, “Condolences to all those bereaved families who lost their loved ones in the Delhi blast. Horrible news.” Sonu Sood tweeted, “My heart reaches out to everyone impacted by today’s tragic blast near the Red Fort in Delhi. (Broken heart emoji) Let’s support the victims, look out for each other, and commit to peace.”
TVK Vijay`s official account also stated, “Deeply shocked and saddened by the news of car explosion near Red Fort Metro, Delhi that has claimed precious lives. My heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. Wishing speedy recovery to all those injured.”
Ridhima Kapoor Sahni penned a heartfelt note on her Instagram story, “My prayers for those who have lost their lives and their families and for those who are injured. Saddened at the Red Fort Blast, may they find the culprits and punish them severely. Prayers and more prayers (folded hands emojis).”
All about the blast
The Delhi Police have filed a complaint in relation to the blast under several sections of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA), the Explosives Act, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. According to news agency ANI, Delhi Police officials received CCTV footage of the suspect`s automobile entering and exiting the parking lot.
According to them, the footage shows that the suspect was alone at the time.
Earlier, speaking with ANI, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that a bomb had exploded in a Hyundai i20 automobile at the Subhash Marg traffic light near the Red Fort in Delhi at 7 p.m. on Monday, injuring some pedestrians and damaging some vehicles.
According to Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha, a slow-moving vehicle stopped at a red light at the Red Fort Metro Station in the national capital, and an explosion happened, causing damage to neighbouring automobiles.
