On Thursday, `90s youth on the internet were filled with nostalgia after a Boogie Woogie reunion. The legendary dance show`s hosts and judges, Jaaved Jaaferi, Naved Jafri, and Ravi Behl, returned for a special dance-off including Jaaved`s son Meezaan.
Jaaved and Meezaan appear in De De Pyaar De 2, a forthcoming romantic comedy, and perform the song 3 Shaukk. As their song-related dancing moves go viral, Jaaved enlisted the help of his old friends for a dance-off.
Meezaan posted the Instagram Reel on his account on Wednesday. The highlight of their reunion was an impromptu dance to the viral song. Meezaan`s dance moves in the song have received great praise, and his new video with the original Boogie Woogie group adds the cherry on top.
Fans react to the OGs reunion
At the end of the video, they all performed the iconic Boogie Woogie signature step. Fans were unanimous in their praise for the `OG dance team`. Shilpa Shetty, an actor, responded to the video by saying, “Soo cool.. The OG s Boogie.. ing” Ayushmann Khurrana wrote: “With the OGs.” One admirer wrote, “Meezan is young, but the OGs stole the show.”
Boogie Woogie was a dance reality TV show that aired from 1996 to 2014 and is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of talent shows on Indian television. Ravi, Naved, and Jaaved judged the show throughout the seasons.

Avvy Sra and Karan Aujla sing 3 Shaukk, which was written by Jaani and Karan and composed by Avvy Sra. Ganesh Acharya directed the choreography.
When asked about 3 Shaukk, singer and composer Avvy Sra commented, “Karan and I have always enjoyed producing music that we actually connect with and that our audience can vibe to. We`re excited that this song is now part of the De De Pyaar De 2 album, and we know our fans will enjoy it all over again.”
Anshul Sharma directs De De Pyaar De 2, which stars Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, R Madhavan, Meezan, and Jaaved Jaaferi in major roles. The film is due to hit theatres on November 14.
