Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, the youngest son of megastar Dharmendra, has revealed his parents` present living arrangements. Bobby revealed in a recent interview that his father lives with his first wife, Prakash Kaur, at their home in Khandala, near Mumbai.
Bobby spoke with ABP Live about his father`s social media posts, which frequently convey a sense of loneliness.
Bobby Deol reveals Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur are living together
He said, “My mum is also there. They’re both at the farm in Khandala right now. Papa and Mummy are together; he just gets a little dramatic. They love being at the farmhouse. They’re also old now, and being at the farmhouse is relaxing for them. The weather is nice, the food is nice.
Bobby elaborated on his father`s emotional nature, stating, “Papa is very emotional. He`s quite expressive. He expresses his feelings to everyone. Sometimes he goes crazy, and when I ask him why he wrote what he wrote or said what he said, he says he was simply following his heart. “Papa has made a paradise out there.”
Bobby also paid respect to his mother, Prakash Kaur, praising her fortitude and influence in Dharmendra`s life and work. “You don’t hear about my mother much because people don’t usually ask us about her. My mother is a housewife, and I am her favourite. We speak every day. She’s the strongest woman I’ve ever met in my life. She came from a small village, and adjusting to city life as the wife of a superstar was not easy. It is because of my mother’s support that my father became a big star,” Bobby further stated.
Hema Malini is living in her villa
Dharmendra`s second wife, Hema Malini, described her separate living situation as “unusual” in a previous interview, but she accepted it, stating that she is pleased with her children and her life despite not living with him.
To repeat, Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur at the age of 19 in 1954, and they had four children: Sunny, Bobby, Ajeeta, and Vijeta. Later, in 1970, Dharmendra met Hema on the set of Tum Haseen Main Jawaan. Their on-screen chemistry translated into real-life passion, and despite family opposition, they married in 1980, raising two children, Esha and Ahana Deol.
