A 32-year-old navy staffer, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, created chaos inside a Grant Road bar during an ongoing police raid late on Friday night (October 17). The accused, identified as Abhishek Kumar Singh, allegedly assaulted police officers who were carrying out a lawful raid.
According to DB Marg police, the incident occurred around 11.10 pm on October 17 at Senorita Bar and Restaurant, in Grant Road East. A police team led by Sub-Inspector Gaurav Tanwar, along with complainant PSI Vinod Dadasaheb Dhore, and two witnesses, was conducting a raid at the bar when the accused forcefully entered the premises despite being informed that police action was in progress.
