Over the years, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has also thrown star-studded bashes. This year as well, rumours were rife that he would host a celebration at his new abode. However, his manager, Pooja Dadlani, has reacted to the claims.
Will Shah Rukh Khan host a Diwali party?
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who usually hosts his glamorous Diwali parties at his sea-facing bungalow Mannat in Mumbai, with several B-Town stars including Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Anil Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Ranbir Kapoor always making their presence felt — had fans wondering whether he would host his Diwali party this year following Mannat’s renovation.
Khan’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, confirmed to HT City that the actor will not host the bash this year. He is currently at his new abode, which also happens to be producer-actor Jackky Bhagnani`s residential building, as Mannat is under renovation. In the past, SRK would invite friends and family over to Mannat to celebrate the festival of lights.
Similarly, another popular Diwali bash in Bollywood will be given a miss this year — the one hosted by actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his wife, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana. A source confirmed to HT City that the couple has decided not to host one, as Ayushmann’s first Diwali release Thamma has all his attention.
Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movies
The actor recently grabbed attention after he made a cameo appearance in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood*. He was seen cheering for his son and even backing the series. However, they landed in legal trouble over a scene depicting Sameer Wankhede.
Apart from this, the actor will be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King, which is set for release in 2027. It also features SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Raghav Juyal, and Abhay Verma, among others. The actor was shooting in Europe for the film, and several BTS pictures surfaced on the internet.
