Actress Sangeeta Bijlani, whose home was looted earlier this year, is still healing from the stress and trauma of the burglary.
The actress attended an award ceremony in Pune on Saturday (October 11), when she spoke with the media and stated that she has urged a police officer to look into the situation and expedite the probe.

Speaking about the robbery that occurred at her property in Pavana, the actress stated, “I have met SP Sandeep Singh Gill, Pune. I came to Pune specially to meet him to request him to think faster because of the robbery at my place. I do feel very unsafe as a woman living in my own home, which has been home for me for the last 20 years”. The thieves stole a TV worth Rs 7,000 and Rs 50,000 cash, totalling Rs 57,000.
The actress` residence lies in the Tikona Peth neighborhood of Pune. A case was filed at Lonavla Rural Police Station. The police had previously stated that the complainant is a private employee of Sangeeta Bijlani. The bungalow remained unoccupied for four months. The robbery was found on July 18, when Sangeeta Bijlani arrived at her villa at 9.30 a.m.

When it comes to the former actress, the 65-year-old began modelling when she was 16. She went on to make numerous advertisements. She won the Miss India Universe title in 1980. She represented India at the Miss Universe pageant in Seoul, South Korea, and won the Best National Costume award, which was designed by her mother, Poonam Bijlani.
She made her Bollywood debut in 1988 with Qatil, opposite Aditya Pancholi, and has since appeared in `Tridev`, `Hathyar`, `Jurm`, `Yodha`, `Yugandhar`, `Izzat`, and `Lakshman Rekha`. She starred in a Hindi and Kannada bilingual film with Vishnu Vardhan. She has also collaborated with Mahesh Bhatt, Mukul Anand, JP Dutta, Rahul Rawail, and N. Chandra.
She most recently appeared in Vinod Dewan`s action thriller `Nirbhay` from 1996. The film also features Mithun Chakraborty, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Anupam Kher, Paresh Rawal, and Kiran Kumar. The film depicts the narrative of an innocent young man who is lured and convicted in a murder case.
