Varinder Singh Ghuman`s last post was for Rajvir Jawanda

Varinder Singh Ghuman, a Punjabi actor and bodybuilder, made his farewell Instagram post on Rajvir Jawanda. Rajvir died on Wednesday, just a few days after being involved in a fatal bike accident, and Varinder died on Thursday, aged 42, of a heart attack. He died just one day after Rajvir Jawanda.

In his last post, Varinder had shared Rajvir`s photo and paid his condolences. He captioned the post in Punjabi, “RIP Brother (red heart emoji). This is a big loss to Punjab and the Punjabi music industry. May Waheguru bless the family.”

A fan responded to the message, stating, “Life is so unpredictable, yesterday he posted about Rajvir and today he`s gone, hard to believe…” “Om Shanti.” A commenter wrote, “Shocking.” “He is no more.” An Instagram user remarked, “There is no way to predict a person`s time. He condoled Rajvir`s death, and now he has left us all.”

Another user wrote, “He posted about Rajvir but had no idea he`d be gone.” Another fan commented, “This is horrible and heartbreaking. God bless you all.” “I feel sad; he had no idea about the tragic event,” another person stated.

Varinder`s manager, Yadvinder Singh, revealed on Thursday that the actor was suffering from shoulder pain and had sought treatment at a private hospital in Amritsar. His nephew, Amanjot Singh Ghuman, told reporters in Jalandhar that the actor had a heart attack in the hospital that evening.

Varinder previously worked with actor Salman Khan on the film Tiger-3 (2023). He also appeared in the films Roar: Tigers of Sundarbans (2014) and Marjaavan (2019). He has appeared in the Punjabi movie Kabaddi Once Again (2012). He also won the Mr India title in 2009 and finished second in the Mr Asia contest.

Rajvir died on Wednesday after being severely injured in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh`s Solan district on September 27. He was on life support at Fortis Hospital in Mohali because of his serious condition. The accident resulted in head and spine damage for the vocalist. The 35-year-old had also experienced a heart attack before being transferred to Fortis Hospital. He was cremated on Thursday, in front of family and industry colleagues.

Rajvir began his singing career in 2014 with the tune Munda Like Me and rose to prominence with the song Kali Jawande Di (2016). Tu dis penda, Khush reha kar, Sardari, Surname, Afreen, Landlord, Down to Earth, and Kangani are some of his other well-known hits. Rajvir starred in the 2018 Punjabi film Subedar Joginder Singh, starring Gippy Grewal, as well as the films Jind Jaan and Mindo Taseeldarni.
