Actor Bobby Deol recently completed 30 years in the film industry. While the actor is currently enjoying an impressive run on the professional front with strong roles coming his way, he is also preparing for his elder son to step into the spotlight. Bobby revealed that his elder son, Aryaman, has caught the attention of the industry and has already been receiving offers. However, his younger son has decided to quit studies after Class 12.
Bobby reveals his son quit studies
Speaking to Radio Nasha, Bobby shared that although he wanted both his sons to focus on academics, their interests turned out to be quite different. “I wanted my sons to study. My younger son left studies after the 12th standard, but my elder son was selected in all the colleges he applied to. He got into NYU Stern School of Business. I didn’t know much about the college, but when I told people where he studied, they said, ‘Wow, it’s a great college.’ I was like, okay,” he recalled with a laugh.
Aryaman is not ready for acting yet
In another interaction with Times Now, Bobby revealed that Aryaman is not rushing into acting despite the offers coming his way. “He is working, he is training. There are a lot of offers coming in, but I don’t want to throw him into the middle of the ocean without knowing how to swim. I want him to first understand the art and then take his first step. So, he is working on himself,” Bobby said.
The actor added that both his sons are interested in films, but he wants them to be well-prepared for the pressures that come with belonging to a film family.
