From aunt Maheep to cousin Shanaya, everyone beamed with joy as they attended the festivities. However, Sonam Kapoor’s presence stole the spotlight, as this marked her first outing amid pregnancy rumours.
Sonam Kapoor spotted at Anshula Kapoor’s engagement
Sonam made her first public appearance since pregnancy rumours surfaced. She arrived at Anshula’s residence and was seen coming out of a car. The paparazzi requested her to come and pose, shouting, “Sonam ji, Sonam ma`am aage aayein.” But the actress ignored them and didn’t pose, heading directly inside the building.
For the engagement ceremony, Sonam Kapoor once again turned heads with her impeccable fashion sense. The actress dazzled in a mustard-colored ankle-length gown with balloon-style hems, paired with a matching full-sleeve jacket. She completed her look with a bun and minimal makeup. Notably, she was spotted without her husband, Anand Ahuja.
Talking about guests, Mohit Marwah, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor and her children Shanaya and Jahaan Kapoor, filmmaker Rohit Dhawan and his wife Jaanvi were among the early attendees at the function.

As per reports by Pinkvilla, a source close to the couple confirmed, “Sonam is in the second trimester of her pregnancy, and the news has brought immense joy to both families.” Sources close to the couple further confirmed that the announcement might be made soon. Sonam Kapoor tied the knot with businessman Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018, in a grand ceremony in Mumbai. They welcomed their son, Vayu, on August 20, 2022.

After dating for over three years, screenwriter Rohan Thakker proposed to Anshula Kapoor at Central Park in New York in July this year. The couple recently hosted an engagement ceremony along with a puja at Anshula’s residence. As per reports by Hindustan Times, “Anshula and Rohan will get engaged on October 2. A puja is planned for the day. They are keeping things low-key.
