Director Sanjay Gupta, known for films such as Shootout at Lokhandwala, spoke candidly with podcast presenter Cyrus Broacha. In a popular portion of the episode of `Cyrus Says`, Gupta disclosed some stunning truths about a Bollywood superstar who burns a massive hole in the production budget for the makers. The director addresses him as `sahab` and refrains from naming the actor because he has not directly worked with him.
This celeb has 6 vanity vans
Gupta counts down the number of vans, claiming the actor need six distinct vanities. From his personal necessities to his styling, he reportedly houses at least 5-6 people each van, bringing the total to over 30 staff members on set, just to cater to the actor`s needs. And that is not all. Gupta asked, “Where do you think this staff will go?” and explained that there is a separate vehicle for them.
Gupta claimed that the actor need a vehicle for personal time “in between shots”. Gupta, quoting his source, suggested that `Sahab` should sit naked, while the two visitors laughed. While this may appear ludicrous, the Lokhandwala director confirmed it and went on to dismantle the other vans he needed. Broacha, the host, was perplexed and said, “Isn`t it a working day?”
As per the trend, the ‘sahab’ also needs a separate van for makeup and hair, a must in the glitzy world of Bollywood. Later, he reported that a makeup artist with many assistants prefers to remain on site throughout, which amounts to approximately 5 employees.
“Just beside is a van, where he conducts meetings,” Gupta claimed, openly mentioning the excessive demands of this alleged superstar. This is where individuals may meet him and conduct business. Coming to the fourth of the six vanity vans in question, Gupta revealed its purpose.
Yes, this is a mobile gym. “Here he works out,” the Bollywood filmmaker stated. “Workout van” means a personal trainer and his assistants, as well as a cleaner and driver for the van, he explained, noting the upkeep costs involved with these vanities.
Talks about their curated diet
The superstar can`t go without eating, shouted Gupta, who disclosed that the actor apparently has a van dedicated to eating. Claiming to stay on set all day, the chef painstakingly measures gourmet dishes such as salmon and beef for the actor. “He doesn`t eat red meat,” Gupta said, claiming that the actor consumes 137 grams of salmon, 98 gm of beef, and 45 eggs every day. Because the private chef is not a nutritionist, a dietician is supposedly there with the actor to advise him on his meals. When Broacha inquired about the sixth vehicle, he concluded on a lighter note, saying, “Where do you think the staff of the five vans will sit?”
