The district disaster management cell chief, Vivekanand Kadam, while asserting about the situation, said that there were no casualties reported at the site.
The JSW Steel facility in Boisar is one of the largest industrial units in the region, and a sudden fire breakout at the facility is extremely concerning.

As soon as the fire broke out inside the JSW Steel Company premises, the plant`s emergency protocols were immediately activated. Moreover, within a few minutes, the Boisar Industrial Estate fire brigade also rushed to the spot and took the situation under control.
Furthermore, the district disaster management cell chief said that “The fire was completely extinguished at 7.45 am, and there was no casualty reported,” as cited by news agency PTI.

Car catches fire at Coastal Road
In a similar scenario, a car caught fire on Mumbai Coastal Road on Thursday morning, which prompted the authorities to halt traffic movement on the route.
Soon after the incident was reported, Mumbai Traffic Police on social media platform X asserted that “Traffic movement is stopped at Coastal Road (Tardeo) southbound and northbound due to a car fire.”
In a different scenario, a speeding Lamborghini car also crashed into the Mumbai Coastal Road divider. However, the driver who was inside the car came out without any serious injuries.
A video of the incident later surfaced on various social media platforms. While the police suspect that the wet road led to the accident, as there was a downpour in the city, some retired RTO officials also pointed to the possibility of hydroplaning or aquaplaning.
