The Ba***ds of Bollywood preview Moments that make you rewind and rewatch

The Ba***ds of Bollywood preview was released on Wednesday amid much anticipation and a grand stage set by none other than Shah Rukh Khan. The King actor turned host as he launched the two-minute-and-thirty-eight-second-long preview of his son, Aryan Khan`s, directorial debut series. The preview has been receiving rave reviews from the audience, who are flooding the internet with their praise and high expectations from the series, which premieres on September 18. Fairly so, the preview does pack a punch or rather multiple of them, with the humour, drama, music and everything Bollywood.

The Ba***ds of Bollywood preview highlights

Shah Rukh Khan`s opening voiceover

The preview starts with Shah Rukh Khan`s iconic voice blessing our ears as he says, “Bollywood! Ek sapno ka sheher hai, par yeh sheher sabka nahi hota. Iss sapno ki duniya mein kuch log hero ke ghar paida hote hai, aur kuch log hero paida hote hai.”

Bobby Deol`s entry

Bobby Deol gets his superstar entry as Ajay Talvar, with tattoos over his biceps, and sporting a manbun as he walks the red carpet amid camera flashes and fans cheering.

Karan Johar`s explosive cameo

Karan Johar, as promised, makes an explosive cameo in the preview in a black sweatshirt, mouthing some cuss words on the phone. The visibly infuriated Johar sports his signature quirky glasses.

Salman Khan cameo

Short, yet impactful, Salman Khan turns around and says “Bullsh*t party”, following Raghav Juyal`s “What a party, kya party, superb party!”

Andar jaane ke bad dialogue

One of the seeti-maar scenes that clearly stood out was the policeman`s dialogue, “Tension nahi leneka, andar jaane ke log aur bhi famous ho jaate hai (Don`t worry, people get more famous after going inside)” as the lead actor, Lakshya, is seen entering a prison. Many joined the dots and noticed how Aryan Khan had made a joke on himself, referring to his more than 20 days spent in Arthur Road jail after his connection with a drug bust on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.

Ranveer Singh`s “Hard” cameo

At the end of the trailer, Ranveer Singh makes a cameo saying, “Hard, bohot hard.”
