Mumbai: Juhu beach outing turns tragic for two boys, one rescued

A morning outing turned tragic at Silver beach near Godrej Gate in Juhu on Friday when two boys were swept away by rough sea currents.  While one was promptly rescued by lifeguards, a search operation is ongoing for the second youth who remains missing.

According to the on-duty guards, the incident occurred around 8:30 AM. The incident occurred around 8:30 AM, according to officials from the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB).

Search operation is underway for the boy who is still missing. Several civic and emergency response teams have been deployed for the search, including fire brigade, police, BMC ward staff and ambulances.

Authorities have issued renewed warnings for visitors to stay cautious, especially during the monsoon season when sea conditions are particularly hazardous.
