Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday inaugurated the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 in Mumbai and said that it will lay the foundation for a global ecosystem housing international talent and creativity.
He said that India is emerging as global hub for Orange Economy–rooted in content, creativity, and culture–will be a strong pillar of India’s GDP.
In his address during the inauguration ceremony of WAVES 2025, PM Modi said that it was the right time for `create in India, create for world` since the world is currently looking for new ways of story-telling and India has so much to offer.
