In view of the Navy Mumbai Marathon scheduled for Sunday, several roads across the city will be closed, and multiple bus routes will be diverted to ensure smooth traffic control. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly.
Bhulabai Desai Road will remain fully closed from 5:00 am, affecting bus route 132. Similarly, Peddar Road, Hajiali, and Breach Candy roads will see closures impacting routes 108, 123, 155, 78, 63, and 77. Buses on routes 78 and 63 will be diverted via Coastal Road and Mukesh Chowk, respectively, while route 77 will be curtailed at Hajiali.
The NSCI road will be closed from 5:00 am to 8:05 am, affecting route 154, which will be curtailed at the S T Office. Additionally, M G Road will be closed from 6:00 am, with routes 28, 86, 83, 5, 15, 9, 14, 21, 51, 69, 103, 124, 25, 138, and C10 diverted via Mahapalika Road and Shahid Bhagat Singh Road.
Maharshi Karve Road and Karmveer Bhaurao Patil Road will be closed from 6:00 am, with routes C10, 25, 45, 6, 14, and 138 diverted via Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, and route 134 diverted via Mohammad Ali Road. M K Road will also see closures, with route 121 curtailed at Churchgate station and route 66 diverted via Mohammad Ali Road.
Other affected roads include Abdul Gaffar Road, with routes 28, 83, 87, 85, 92, 305, 37, 86, and 151 diverted via E Moses Road from 6:05 am, and Veer Nariman Road, with route 112 diverted via Mantralaya from 6:45 am.
Authorities have urged commuters to expect delays and use alternate routes where possible. All closures are in effect for the duration of the marathon.
