Aaditya Thackeray pays tribute to Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray

On the death anniversary of Shiv Sena founder and Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray, senior leaders of the Thackeray family and key political figures gathered in Mumbai on Monday to pay their respects. After the Thackeray cousins, Uddhav and Raj Thackeray, were seen together during the anniversary tribute function, the former Maharashtra minister and son of Uddhav Thackeray was also seen paying floral tributes to the Shiv Sena founder on Monday. 

Sharing the moment on social media handle X, Aaditya Thackeray wrote, “Today, on the death anniversary of Hindu Hrudaysamrat, the revered Shiv Sena leader Balasaheb Thackeray, party chief Hon. Shri Uddhav Saheb Thackeray, mother Smt Rashmi Thackeray, and the president of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena—my uncle Hon. Raj Saheb Thackeray—along with others, visited the memorial at Shiv Tirth and paid humble respects.”

The joint appearance of Uddhav and Raj Thackeray—who parted ways politically years ago—added significance to the tribute. Such rare moments of togetherness of Raj and Uddhav often resonate deeply with Shiv Sena loyalists, especially on emotionally important days linked to the party’s legacy.

Supriya Sule pays tribute to Bal Thackeray

NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule, on Monday, while taking to social media, also paid a heartfelt tribute to Balasaheb Thackeray on his death anniversary. NCP (SP) MP remembered him as one of Maharashtra’s most influential leaders.

Sule, while posting on X, wrote, “Today is the death anniversary of Balasaheb Thackeray, the beloved leader of Maharashtra and Shiv Sena chief. On this occasion, humble salutations to his memories.”

Supriya Sule’s post on social media highlights the deep respect Balasaheb commands across party lines, even years after his passing. Known for his charismatic leadership and strong connection with the Marathi community, the Shiv Sena founder continues to be a towering figure in the state’s political discourse.
