Dharmendra to remain under observation for 48 hours, Sunny Deol’s team confirms

Veteran actor Dharmendra is said to be stable and is currently under observation. The actor was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai earlier on Monday. He was reportedly put on a ventilator, as he is suffering from breathing difficulties. His son, actor Sunny Deol’s team, has issued a statement saying that the actor is currently under observation.

Sunny Deol shares Dharmendra’s health update

A statement from the team read, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.”

The team further shared, “Dharmendra will remain under doctors’ observation for the next 48 hours. There has been no movement today. At present, the family is praying for his recovery and has requested privacy.”

Family arrives at the hospital

Soon after the news broke, his son, actor Sunny Deol, was spotted arriving at the hospital along with his sons, Karan and Rajveer Deol, to check on the veteran star. The actor looked visibly disturbed as he sat in the passenger seat. Esha Deol has also reached Breach Candy Hospital to check on her father’s health. Hours earlier, while speaking to HT, Hema Malini spoke about the veteran actor’s health and shared that the family is “hoping for his speedy recovery.”

Over the past few days, reports and rumours surrounding Dharmendra’s health have been making headlines. Earlier, when the news came out that he was allegedly on life support, Sunny Deol’s team later rubbished the exaggerations and assured fans, saying, “It’s rumour-mongering like always. Sir is getting better. He’s under observation. There’s nothing to worry.”
