BJP leader Ram Kadam slams Uddhav Thackeray, questions his moral right

While taking a jibe at Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, the BJP leader Ram Kadam on Saturday launched a sharp attack. The BJP leader slammed Uddhav Thackeray over his recent remarks against Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

While speaking to the media, BJP leader Ram Kadam questioned Thackeray’s “moral right” to comment on Fadnavis, accusing him of neglecting administrative duties during his tenure.

Ram Kadam while talking to the media, said “What moral right does he have to speak about CM Devendra Fadnavis? He will speak about our Chief Minister, who did not visit the ministry for even two days in 2.5 years, who did not meet ministers or journalists.”

Hitting out at Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and other party members, the BJP leader further alleged that Thackeray had earned a negative image in the state. Ram Kadam further said that, “He is known in Maharashtra as ‘Khichdi Chor’ and ‘Dawai Chor’. What moral right does Uddhav Thackeray have to speak about CM Devendra, who works 20-20 hours a day?”

The remarks from the BJP leader Ram Kadam come amid growing political sparring between the BJP and Shiv Sena (UBT) over governance issues and upcoming state elections.

Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar echoes the Opposition`s claim on fraudulent voters

The Shiv Sena (UBT) earlier last week claimed that the BJP had scored a “self-goal” by acknowledging the presence of fraudulent voters, following Maharashtra minister and BJP leader Ashish Shelar’s assertion that names of the same electors had appeared multiple times across constituencies, reported the PTI.

However, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray further dismissed the ruling BJP’s accusation of “appeasement politics” regarding alleged irregularities in the electoral roll, insisting that neither the Shiv Sena (UBT) nor other opposition parties had identified any bogus voter by religion.

He reiterated that local body elections in Maharashtra should only take place once the voter lists have been thoroughly cleaned up.

Furthermore, the exchange of accusations began after senior BJP leader Ashish Shelar accused Uddhav Thackeray and MNS chief Raj Thackeray of indulging in appeasement politics and attempting to pressure government officials ahead of the local polls.

Maharashtra Minister Ashish Shelar also alleged that the Opposition was trying to create a “false narrative”.

Responding to Raj Thackeray’s earlier comments that certain voters from Kalyan Rural, Murbad, and Bhiwandi had also voted in Mumbai’s Malabar Hill, Ashish Shelar described such actions as “the height of appeasement”. He questioned why only Marathi voters were being targeted for duplication, as per the PTI.
