While interacting with Bihari citizens at Poisar in Kandivali, the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister on Thursday asserted that we don’t want ‘jungle raj’ to take over Bihar again. The NDA government came to power in Bihar after ending the jungle raj that once existed. Therefore, the people there do not want jungle raj again, and the voters will vote on the issue of development, the Deputy Chief Minister added while speaking to the media.
Eknath Shinde also added that “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has helped a lot with the development of Maharashtra. Due to this, a dual-engine government has come to power in the state. A new era of development has begun in the country.”
With the first phase of voting for the Bihar assembly elections already underway, the second phase will be held on November 11. Eknath Shinde further expressed his confidence that the people will once again stand with the NDA.
The Deputy Chief Minister further added that, “People are choosing development because they don’t want hooliganism and jungle raj.”

Taking a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Eknath Shinde said, “Rahul Gandhi is making unfounded allegations to maintain his political existence. Those who accuse the Modi government of vote-rigging have first committed note-rigging. For Modiji, Nation First, while for the opposition, Corruption First.”
The Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister also expressed confidence that the people of Bihar will teach the opposition a lesson and return the NDA to power.
Speaking more about the Bihar elections in 2025, Eknath Shinde said that he will soon go to Bihar to campaign for the NDA candidates in the Bihar elections.
Shinde also said that people have been living in slums in Poisar for the last 50 years, and the government will definitely try to ensure that everyone gets their rightful homes by implementing the cluster redevelopment scheme.
The Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar has also said that an STP will be implemented here for the purification of the Poisar River.
He added, “When I was the Chief Minister, I had tried to clean the roads by implementing the Deep Clean Drive campaign in Mumbai.” He also clarified that after the rains, he will start this campaign again from the Poisar area.
Along with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Nirupam and all the prominent activists and office bearers of Shiv Sena were also present.
